Our most special and unique print – the Personalised Illustrated Family print is our interpretation of your family, transformed into a beautiful artwork! Suitable for families and couples, you can add 2 adults and up to 5 children (and your dogs) completely free of charge.
Gone are the days of sitting on a waiting list to get a Katie Cardew commission, Katie has been working very hard over the last year to develop our very first multi-option family print! Katie has illustrated hundreds of different options to choose from, from young babies right up to older generations. She has developed a huge range of hair styles and colours, clothing types, skin tones and even an array of accessory choices; something for everyone!
Using the photograph you provide and the information you give us, we will produce a stylised image of your family using the cache of drawings by Katie. For the basic price quoted you can include up to two adults, five children and two dogs from our image list. You can add more people and dogs at an additional cost.
Things to know: (very important please read carefully before adding to basket)
There are 3 styles of clothing to choose from (alternatively you can leave it up to us) – ‘Country’, ‘Summer’ or ‘Classic’ – see photo gallery for examples of the different styles. Importantly we cannot replicate your own clothes but we hope there will be some styles you feel would suit your family.
Using your photo as a starting point, we will replicate heights, hair colours/styles, skin tone, clothing and to some extent body types of each person, using selections from Katie’s cache which closest match. Please do note that the resulting illustration is a sketch, not photo-realistic!
You can choose your background colour if you wish, or leave it to us to pick the colour most suited to your group.
You can add up to 2 dogs completely free of charge as long as the breeds are on our list (see Personalisation options below)
Along the bottom edge of the illustration you can add your family name or individual names, just type your preference into the Personalisations section.
Once we have compiled the illustration, you will be emailed a proof to approve.

PLEASE NOTE: These illustrations take slightly longer than our other prints to produce. Please allow 10 working days for your print to be created and a proof emailed to you – once you confirm that you are happy we will then prepare your print and dispatch it to you within 5 working days.

Personalised Illustrated Family Fine Art Print
Framed option
Framed in a high quality Oak frame. Frames are UK made and professionally framed in our studio.
A3 & A2 prints come mounted and framed.
Unframed A3 & A2 prints are supplied in either an A3 or A2 mount with backing board & cello.
We use a high quality perspex rather than glass. It is not only safer to transport, but it is also safer to hang.
Unframed option
A3 unframed prints are posted in cello
A2/A1 unframed prints are rolled in tissue paper and posted in a tube.
All our Fine art prints are giclée printed in-house by our professional printer using archival quality inks. We use 310gsm slightly textured fine art paper. Our inks will not fade in direct sunlight.
Please note, personalised items are non-returnable (unless faulty).
PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES:
We will use your uploaded photo to create your family illustration. It is very important that the photo shows every individual standing side by side and that each person can be seen from the top of their head down to their feet, this helps us to get everybody’s heights and general size correct. Ideally please include any dogs in this photo so that we can see their relative size, we do understand that including pets may not be possible but if you can do it, great!

UK ORDERS
Please allow 5-7 working days for delivery. We endeavour to dispatch your order within 3 working days but there may be times/circumstances that push the delivery times back a tad.
Framed prints are produced to order and take up to 7 working days to dispatch.
Dispatch information
Orders weighing 1.2kg and under are dispatched using via Royal Mail.
Orders weighing over 1.2kg are dispatched using a next day courier.
