Like many good jobs, it started as just a hobby. Katie has always loved to draw, right from a toddler, but never saw it as something she would make a living from.
In 2013, at the age of 22, Katie decided that her London office job just wasn’t quite for her so armed with not much more than a sketch pad and her trusty old Apple laptop, moved back in with her parents and started drawing…
She launched her first fine art print and card range later that year which has grown into the prolific and successful range of illustrated gifts and homewares you can see today!
9 years, 2 children, a fantastic team and many glasses of wine later, Katie still illustrates and designs each and every product and absolutely adores the entire process – from having an idea in her head and eventually seeing it come to life.
Katie now has two beautiful stores in Stamford and Oakham, a lovely studio where her team and her work from and many stockists accross the UK.
They also exhibit at many prestigeous events including RHS Chelsea, RHS Hampton Court Palace, Burghley Horse Trials and Top Drawer.
Katie designs each and every product – from an idea in her head, she then draws out the designs, scans them onto her iMac and finally uses them to design the products, from small greeting cards right up to epic picnic blankets!
Every product is trialled and tested to make sure that not only the illustrations look amazing, but also they stand up to use in a busy household.
We use UK manufactures for all our products, many of which are local to us (we often pop in for a cuppa and a nosy to see how our order is coming along!) We thoroughly believe in supporting UK manufacturing and the beautiful quality speaks for itself.
